West Chester University's Black Student Union hosts fundraiser for H4H
On October 26, 2023, WCU's Black Student Union welcomed Tori and Leo from H4H to attend and speak about H4H and homelessness at their fundraising event for the league. This was an awesome event which included a free throw contest, 3pt contest, and a full court game. Thank you WCU for the support and great time and congratulations to all the winners!
Hoops 4 Hope Players Attend The Basketball Tournament's $1 Million Championship Game

Hoops 4 Hope & Jameer Nelson at Church of the Advocate Gym
On Friday, November 19th, H4H hosted its first in person basketball event of 2021. Participating emergency housing sites at this event were Self Inc. Outley House and Station House, Bethesda Project's Our Brother's Place, Resources for Human Development's (RHD) Kailo Haven and Fernwood West, and Urban Affairs Coalition's Center for Hope. H4H also welcomed participants from RHD's La Casa program along with Journey of Hope sites Miracles in Progress and New Start as new participants this year.
Over 50 individuals were in attendance for this event, which also included special guests Ms. Universe, Nikki Johnson-Huston, and former NBA star, Jameer Nelson. The event kicked off with a knock out tournament and was followed by a full court game which came down to the wire! Food, autographs, and raffles were also highlights of the evening. As always, the hospitality of Church of the Advocate staff was tremendous as was the assistance H4H received from all participating programs!

Hoops 4 Hope Partners with SELF, Inc. and St. Joseph's Prep
On August 3rd, 2021, SELF Inc. Station House men's shelter welcomed H4H and St. Joseph's Prep staff to its site. H4H led information sharing/recruitment efforts for the league and St. Joseph's Prep facilitated an awesome giveaway, consisting of drawstring bags, toiletries, socks, and snacks. This event concluded with a gift card raffle and pizza lunch for all participants.

Hoops 4 Hope and St. Francis Inn Give Back to the Community
On March 2, 2021 the Hoops 4 Hope Team was welcomed by St. Francis Inn in giving back to the community. With donations of coats, toiletries, socks, snack bags, and protein bars we were able to help out over 120 individuals!
Hoops 4 Hope would like to give a huge thank you to St. Joseph's Prep, Heyday Athletic, TUSHY, and a special thank you to St. Francis Inn Ministries for allowing us to come out! We hope to be able to do this again very soon!
